When life seems to get a bit tricky

Advice is given by a lady called Nicky:

In case you are wondering what bicky is: "Shady guy who lies about everything" according to a dictionary of urban slang; and a "biscuit" according to Wikipedia. Nicky (the owner of the legendary establishment in Greenwich Village and a loyal subject of Lizzy II) probably meant the latter. But you can choose whatever you prefer.

This post is dedicated to A, who many years ago took me there for the first time, when life got a little bit tricky... But it has nothing to do with the red (or pink?) V-day tomorrow, which I truly detest!
